AUGEO, as the current operator in the international purchase – sale of steel products, especially SCRAP and REBAR, maintains a daily review service of the prices of these products. In the specific case of REBAR, prices in the month of February show an upward trend, an identical case to SCRAP, a growing price trend that is surely related to the reactivation of international activity. This upward trend is also observed in 12-month futures contracts, with prices that are higher than the current ones in this annual period. The two lower graphs show this evolution of both products based on the daily closing prices of the LME spot market.
